The 2027 IOM Oceania Continental Championships are set to bring together International One Metre sailors for five days of racing at Regatta Waters on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
The Championships will be held from 5–10 September 2027, with a maximum fleet of 80 boats.
As a major event on the IOM calendar, the Oceania Continental Championships provide an opportunity for sailors from Australia, New Zealand and further afield to compete in an international championship at one of Australia’s established radio sailing venues.
Entries are now open
Entries are now being accepted, with entries closing on 5 March 2027.
Allocation of places will be conducted in accordance with the IOMICA Class Championships Regulations 2024, which are available from the Documents section of the event website.
For Australian competitors, places will be offered in the order of the IOM Class Ranking applicable on 22 February 2027, the day following the conclusion of the 2027 IOM Australian Championships.
This means Australian sailors intending to compete are encouraged to submit their entry by the closing date regardless of their current ranking position. The allocation of places will take place as soon as practical following the close of entries in March.
No entry fee should be sent when submitting an entry. Entry fees will only become payable after a competitor has been offered a place in the Championship.
