Hobart’s iconic Australian Wooden Boat Festival, held from 7-10 February, is set to welcome an exciting addition to its celebration of maritime tradition, with the Risdon Brook Radio Sailing Club bringing the world of model yacht racing to the event. Visitors are expected to flock to the waterfront to admire beautifully crafted wooden vessels, or 'woodys' as they are affectionately known, they will also get a chance to witness the craftsmanship and detail of radio sailing.
