ARYA Office Bearers for 2020 / DF95 Nationally Recognised Class
The 2020 Australian Radio Yachting Association AGM was held on 17th February at Yarrawonga Yacht Club and saw the election of the committee for 2020 along with the DF95 being recognised as an ARYA Nationally Recognised Class.
Andrew Reid (VIC) will remain at the helm of the ARYA for 2020 being reappointed for his second term as President of the ARYA. At the same time the DF95 Class joins the DF65 as a Nationally Recognised Class (NRC) by the ARYA with class delegate Phil Burgess attending the AGM. The DF95 will see it's inaugural Australian Championship held at Austin Lakes, Western Australia over the 8th/9th March and currently sees 30 entries for the event.

We would also like to recognise those who have left the ARYA committee this year. Norman Wallis (SA) has resigned from the position of Treasurer while Trevor Jeffries (SA) resigned from the position of Public Officer. Thank you to both who have been on the committee for a number of years and have worked tirelessly supporting the association. Unfortunately Trevor Jeffries passed away a few days prior to the AGM and our thoughts are with family and friends at this time.
